GET UR INSURANCE IN ORDER NOOOOWWWWW!!!!

Hey Tim u beat me to this!!!!

FOLKS, from an insurance prospective (i'm a sales rep for State Farm). It's now time to check ur insurance policies on your Homeowners/Renters, Flood, Auto and MAKE SURE U HAVE ENOUGH COVERAGE and U UNDERSTAND what u have.

ALL INSURANCE CO's CEASE ADDING OR INCREASING CVG ONCE A STORM THREATENS THE GULF, so DON'T THINK, u can wait til a storm comes to add or increase coverage TO ANY OF UR POLICES, they WON'T DO IT.

Those in SeaCoast Counties; Brazoria Galveston, Chambers, most co's have EXCLUDED WINDSTORM/HURRICANE damage from your policy, so it's not covered under ur regular policy. If so, it's important u picked that coverage back up thru TWIA. They removed the cvg b/c ur the counties with the biggest threat of damage!

ALSO FLOOD IS SEPARATE FROM UR HOMEOWNERS/RENTERS, if u didn't make a point to purchase it, U DON'T HAVE IT. There is a 30 day waiting period to get it so, please get it NOW to at least have ur self coverage by July!!!!!

Take a moment this week or next for sure, to contact ur agent or just PM me with any questions, and make sure ur adequately covered and understand how!!!!

Just keeping u informed peeps

No kidding, as my brother, who lives not far outside New Orleans said; "Katrina gave New Orleans an enema, Houston wound up being downstream.":eh:

Granted, some of the refugees from Katrina are decent hard working people, it's the others that give everyone a bad reputation.

Hopefully the forecasters are wrong.
