Lol, yeah the carb was very pitted to begin with. I should have used the bowel as an example but i did that first, it was pretty much all varnish on the inside, now it looks almost new.

I did the exact same thing except I screwed a "T" fitting into the end of the gun and then added a coupling and a barbed fitting for 1/2" hose. Then I took a 5 gallon bucket popped a hole in the bottom added another barbed fitting and 8 feet of 1/2" hose.

I fill the bucket with sand and use it to blast steel parts for my buggy.

I'v got a total of 20.00 into and it rocks, the suction from the half inch hose will suck a shop rag off the floor, between the gravity feed from the bucket and the suction provided I rarely have any feed issues.

I'm interested in pics as well. I've been considering throwing together something similar for more efficient paint removal on some metal parts.

I've got less than 15 bucks into it. Screwed a couple 2x4s to thr bottom of the bucket to keep the barbed fitting from getting tore up. Pretty much fill the bucket, hang it and go to blasting.

I built it to sandblast the joints i have tacked together building this thing. Eventually I'll use it to blast the whole thing. Between the blaster a few bags of sand, this will be painted for less than 50 bucks
