There are several people out there that have one, usually somone has one set up, if you get there and one is up then just use that. Bring yours though incase someone elses does not work or they dont bring one. You can set it on the wall, some use a tripod though. I think the instructions say a min. of 15' away, we pass much closer than that and it still seems to work great.

We sell the mounts and they are nice.

The only issues I have seen are:

1) On some models they block or contact the gauge housing at full steering lock.

2) Weve seen gauge damage done by the bracket in the case of a get of.
