Talking DIY helmet stand/holder ideas needed

Need ideas for a stand that will hold 3-4 MX helmets. It would be nice if I could get them aligned horizontally and not vertically. Design ideas/pics welcome.

are you abject to a piece of 2x4 cut to length with 4-5 bike rack screws like this?

611U4qEn3TL SX450

you could hang this wherever you wanted, and mount it horizontally.

Went ahead and just used a shelf for the helmets, but decided to get the boots off the ground, which I love. Nice and neat!

That looks awesome. Good for airing them out too. I just worry about heat deteriorating the helmet liners.

Thanks!

Good point about the liners. I may have to keep the liners in the laundry room during the summer. They get washed and hung up in their anyway..

I didn't even see a helmet in that picture. Too busy looking at those bikes' . You guys sure are respectful of your gear. My helmets get thrown on the work bench all dirty and sweaty. I just check to make sure there isn't a spider in there and throw it on my head.

Between my better half and I (complete OCD creatures), the bikes and trucks get baby'd.

I'm laughing at your spider comment. We get big nasty wood spiders here and that's the LAST thing I want on my head.. or in my boot!
