Re: TWS (Texas World Speedway) Notes

if everyone puts some input into it, it could make for a great tool not only for the first timers for all of us,,,

coming out of T6, it is pretty bumpy on the outside so, if you get headshakes pretty easily watch out,, i always come thru there on the inside which sometimes allows me a pass right there

With the speed I carry throught here I always get pushed to the outside. But when I get to the outside I immediately come in and go right next to the bumps.

T6 is rather tricky... go too low and the track is SUPER slick go too high and there is small bump there that will unload your shock and cause major problems. I had Scott Dennis, an LSTD instructor, behind me there and he said I hit the bump... which caused me to start dirtracking it down the track. My back tire kicked around on me so much it was crazy. I kept it up as long as I could, almost saved it. My bike actually slide about 1/4 of the way to T7 before it went off the track. I on the other hand slid about 1/5 of the way then did a few somersaults in the grass.

I hate T6, hahaha...

Re: TWS (Texas World Speedway) Notes

Yeah Im not too fond of T6 either. I could definitely drop about half a second on that turn alone

Re: TWS (Texas World Speedway) Notes

T6 is a byotch when it's damp, too.

Also, I try to stay alittle more than 2 or 3 feet from the skirt in the horseshoe. There are about 3 little bumps about 2 to 3 feet out right in the apex...

Re: TWS (Texas World Speedway) Notes

Late apex T6 and you will pass everybody on the inside along with keeping your speed up for the back straight and blazing through T7. That is where I try to pass alot of people. That is where I got Andy last time out there but I am sure he could have muscled me with that 636 if he wanted too.
