I feel bad. Should I?

Ok I was going home from work this morning down i-10 east, and this man in this silver dodge ram starts moving into my lane. I'm like WTF!?! I kinda panicked, cause I hardly ever use the horn, so I was like Sh#t where is it, so I pulled my clutch in and I'm pressing the starter button (I know nothing to do with anything, but its funny now that I look back at it. Cause I sometimes press the horn by mistake, and when I need it I cant find it) I end up slowing down. This just moves into my lane, and he didn't even put his blinker on or anything. Just cruised on over like he owned the freeway. No wave of the hand like saying "oh sh@t. I'm sorry" no swerve like " I almost hit that guy". You guys know what I'm talking about. We've all done that. At least I do when I make a mistake. You know? So I get , and I speed up and catch up to this A hole, and get next to him and turn and look at him and He's on his cell phone! That me off even more So I did the only mature thing I can think of at the moment. I fliped him the bird! Making sure he saw me. Then I go on about my way. He starts following me, and my exit is coming up, on Uvalde so I exit expecting him to follow me and pull over, but he must have had somewhere important to go to, cause he just kept on going down i-10. As I exit I turn to look at him and he's making this gesture with his finger like you little sonababiche! I'm like whatever. I'm still . So I just cruise on home. And I'm just thinking what the is wrong with people?

Sorry I just had to vent. I can't say that I've not had close calls, and that I don't use the cell phone when driving, but one thing is for sure, I can say I've never had close calls when on my cell phone and driving. I make sure that I am more aware if I'm gonna be double tasking! That's for sure! Why can't people just be smarter? END of Rant. Thanks for listening. Oh yeah I felt bad afterwards, cause I wish he would have followed me and I would have told him "Man you almost hit me, and thats why I fliped you the bird, not cause I'm a D!ck or anything" I'm a nice guy. Honest!

plus, it's not like you slapped him and rubbed his nose in ....did you? So what's the point in feeling bad now, can't change it.

I can't, thats the freeway I need to take to get outta the neighborhood. Its a lot better than taking 610 around my side of town. Let me tell ya. I feel like frogger when I try to get on 610, and thats on my car!

I think you were in bounds, in fact I would have introduced my foot to his blinker or side of the truck just to get the point across. I hate those idiot drivers that "OWN" the road and never check lanes or use blinkers. They are the reason I pay massive amounts on insurance.

Oh I know where all the controls are, but I'm thinking, WTF? "Hey A hole I'm right here!!!"

Had he not been on the phone I would have said "Ok, man. You made a mistake. Thats you're one gimme. Keep on truckin' "

LOL. I would love to be that hard core. BONG! "Take that! And remember me when ever you think you own the road. You'll think twice before not using your blinker, or just moving over" Ah ha ha ha. :laughing6

I wouldn't have minded if he followed me and pulled over. I'd explain my actions. And if he'd come out blowing, then I guess I'd explain myself after we kicked each other's .

You mean that ceramic part of the spark plugs? That t can break glass lovely. You know it will shatter it, but won't break it out. Thats sooo cool!

But ya'll are right. And I feel much better. Thank Yous!
