Not all speed related...

Rodio got head shake on his crash around 120-130 in a turn

My friend says his goes into shake anytime he sets down a wheelie...

I think the front geometry is just too tight on the rake/trail.. or it may be a setup issue..

I think it's something about Rodio and ZX-10's. Don't get them together...bad things happen...I only say that cause he was with us last night.

I f you google ZX10s and headshake you will find a ton of accidents!
Sorry to hear another accident. Glad he is alive and suffer only light rashes.

zx10 are notorious for headshake because it has a monster engine and most riders are squids. Any bike that could lift a front wheel at that speed would have a headshake or tankslapper. Try to dump the clutch in 3rd gear on the zx10 and tell me what happen? The front wheel will lift off the ground about 2-3 ft. at that RPM it is at 130mph.

Obsolutely true....as with any high HP bike. It comes down to rider and experience. I know several people with ZX10s and they don't have dampers on them. Dampers are nice, don't get me wrong. I actually don't like them and they aren't entirely necessary.

When a person twists the throttle hard, they have the tendancy to push on the bars at the same time which gets the wheel crossed up and the bike is lifting, then they let off and wham, headshake ensues when the weight is xfer'd back on the front wheel.

why doesn't the zx10 come with a damper from factory. All other bikes that have sharp geometry have them. the wifes 675 has one. Seems like a law suite waiting to happen.
