glad to hear that she is going home, she will be sore for a while I'm sure brakes or not. Jet you're a good friend to have you are who I'm gonna call if I ever need help. Not many people would go that far out of thier way to help someone at that time of morning. You are a knight in shining armor.

Jet you make me feel bad. Why do I have to be such an adrenaline junkie :BangHead: Just today after getting a little upset I caught myself doing 160+ plus in traffic on 290, 610, 59 and the beltway wearing only shorts tshirt and helmet :eh: Maybe I should sell the bike

Unfortuanetly I do have gear, two sets... and I laid it down sept last year and came out pretty badly with road rash on my palm, grinded my knee cap down to where I have a hole in it, broke my foot, road rash on my back, foot, both arms. You'd be amazed what my skins looks liek today, except for my knee. I rode liek 7 yrs ago with a gixxer 750, laid that down twice. quit riding after i watched my friend die in front of me on a turn in Austin. Sold the bike and went racing with the car. 6 yrs later b/c of a certain girl I got hooked on bikes and went and bought the busa. I love it, I just dont know how to stop, sometimes I let my emotions take control of me and I just don't care which is bad. Maybe I need my head rung a few more time

Th cops on the scene have the experience based on being there time and time again, yet the injured if conscious and no outward signs of damage can still refuse.

The company I worked for has a team of people who do all the follow-ups to the injured. You would be amazed at the number of pick-ups were performed on these individuals at a later time, all to be charged back to the hospital and ems carriers for non-payment by the insurance carriers. Its a nasty business... probably why its one of the number one topics during elections.

The truth in this case is that she is okay... a little banged up but okay nonetheless. There is no telling how we would all feel had there been an internal fracture that had ruptured anything internal. I guss we'd all feel different about our decisions no matter how justified we feel we were.

Maybe its a good time to remember my friend Britt's case and what she had to go through... She won't so much as ride a 50 without gear now.

Jet, thank you for getting there so fast with the truck. I was pretty sure the cops and the tow truck drivers were getting the itch to just tow here bike wherever. She is a very lucky woman! There is a horrible dip in the road on that turn and then that f'in gravel. Houston roads............top notch! :BangHead: :BangHead: :BangHead: :BangHead: :BangHead:
