LEATHER REPAIRS...

ok so since my frank thomas suit has a lifetime warrenty I have now gone through 2 suits due to a zipper malfunction. I finally concluded that the zipper itself was just crappy....SOOOOooo. Josh heard through the grapevine of a lady that works on track leathers, as a matter of fact the one piece suit that Squeaky wears has extra padding in certain areas where the guy who prviously owned it had crashed and she would add extra padding and leather repair where it was needed. SO once again my zipper broke and I decided to ship my suit off to her after speaking with her. She said MOST suits do not come with a durable zipper and are poorly installed. I was concern I would not havemy leathers back intime for th 6-16 trackday and she said no problem. She told me she would instal a brass very durable zipper and add extra stitching for only $70 this is not a bad price since she has to take the other one off and install the new one.

Anyways I shipped the leathers out LAST tue, which means she got them on Thur and guess what I...I just got them in today. Fast huh? She is AMAZING work, you can not tell that it had once been taken out except for the fact it's abrass zipper now. But double stitching and zipper protector. I HIGHLY rcommend her and I will be using her in the near future to take my leathers in around the calf and ankle area.

Might need to be reinforced to avoid splitting, and you'd also have to perforate the liner. Worth asking in this heat! (heat index 100 - glad I'm not in leather today!)
