Looking to get some info on purchasing a bike with a lost title. Guy says he will help thru the process of getting a bonded title. Thoughts or suggestions? Thanks

Thoughts? Plenty of nice bikes prices to sell that have clear titles.

Ya, if he is the real owner, then have him get a replacement title. Bonded title is stupid way to go if title is in the guys name.

I've known the guy a long time and he is making me a good deal on it.
I still plan on checking vin tonight once I get home. He wasn't the original owner. I'm gonna talk to him again tonight and see who is the owner and what happened to the title. I just don't wanna spend to much on my first bike.

Welcome. Be careful with dealing with people like that. Granted, not all of them are shady but watch your 6.
