I find it pretty laughable that a bunch of keyboard Nazis talk about the rider, but when they find out the mom is on board, it's all respect and apologies.

The truth is, in a 55 mph zone, I would have been speeding. My 17-yr-old soon would have been speeding (he's already been arrested for speeding), , most of us on this forum would have been speeding. The difference between 55 and 70 isn't that great, though. It's my pining that the driver wasn't paying attention, and turned in front of the bike, which I'm almost positive she 'didn't see'.

It can happen to any of us at any time. In the blink of an eye, we, too, can lose everything.

Any content about the late Trent will be searched/viewed by people who were really close to him. I guess you can say it is like an online memorial to those who wish they knew more about him and miss him greatly. So, for those who are not paying their respects... off and go slap fight elsewhere.

I never knew him until I came across this thread and given that the mother has took it upon herself to join and comment, shows that she is still grieving and grasping for support.

It is perfectly fine to throw on your detective hats and formulate your own conclusions, but thread lightly, because this thread went from normal read status, to super sensitive. You asshats that can't take your quarrels to "private messages", or better yet, create a bash thread on each other, should be ashamed for your behaviors.

Miss Johnson, I'm greatly sorry for your lose and I hope you will find the closure you need to proceed with life knowing all the greatness your child has done that you are seeking to find. I can only imagine how lost you might feel at times and how hard it may be to let him go. Although he is no longer here physically, he will always be with you through memories and thoughts. You are his best lifeline now, only you can keep his legacy alive. I admire your persistence to know more about him and the lifestyle he was a part of.

I just realized she revived this thread yesterday to defend her son's actions on a thread that originated in February. That's is so sad :(. I hope having the mother of the son show herself in this thread changes the way some of you react to accident news reports on this forum. Show your concern for the rider and the families involved, you never know who might be lurking. Here the mother of the kid is making a username on our board to get involved in this discussion and we (I say we lightly) make out of ourselves. Now instead of gaining a valuable member here, she's practically forced out.
