the cop, lol.

I lived down the street from the intersection and knew from experience that the light wouldn't trigger. So, I checked traffic, saw one car, way back behind me and went.
Instant lights. Oh well, win some lose some.
Yeah, I got pulled off of the bike felony-stop style, at gunpoint for 75 in a 60 and got arrested for reckless driving for 96 in a 65 in the middle of effing nowhere in S Texas. Lotsa cops don't like sportbikes.

Late to the thread but 288 traffic sucks worse than 290 and I will split sparingly.
Will help the bike run much cooler.

Wait... I'm confused whether that's actually a citation or just a warning. It says "warnings (no penalty for following offenses:" but in other places it's marked citation.

On the left there's an X marked for citation, and another box has been "checked" for citation, but there's no court information. All the "checks" are a little off

I saw that, but the actual reasons are listed in a box that says "no penalty for the following offenses".

Looks like citation violations go right above the court info

That's what I was thinking as well. So no clue what he got cited for, but it looks like he was officially "warned" for splitting.

It's just a warning. I wonder if UTPD even has jurisdiction on Almeda

UT and A&M system police have jurisdiction in "entire county where property is located, owned, leased, rented, or otherwise controlled by the University."

For A&M system police, that means they have jurisdiction over the entire state because there are Agrilife operation in every county.

Almeda is horrible at that time. All of the medical center traffic completely clogs it.

I got a letter back from Rick Miller's office saying that he does not support HB813. The letter did not explain why he does not support it, so I'm thinking we should all call and find out.
