Cliff Saunders is lazy. He should have spoken with more than just one "rider". Maybe that's why he writes for the radio.

I have seen plenty of motorcycle police officer lane split. But I guess they only enforce the law instead of following it.

Really? C'mon. There was another article earlier this week that included a vid of a bike hauling between cars and used it as an "example" of what these bills would allow.
Is there anybody on MH that have not done this? The fact that I signal my lane changes and do my headchecks doesn't mean squad to most drivers. To them, I'm just another crazy biker that "weave in and out of traffic".

Complain all you want about public perception of motorcycling in general. The reality is not anything anyone of us can do about.

Dave respects a good white line and knows its place. He has hit the lines before no doubt, so not sure how he can be so anti lane splitting.

Just because you are a 97.9 fan doesn't mean the rest of us are.

Like i said, its one comment that could have been taken out of context. You wont find me lane splitting, i know what kind of morons drive in Houston. That 2-3 minutes aint worth it to me, but i would like to have the option.

Now if you leave out that last sentence and cut it off before the but, and post it somewhere, people are going to think im against the bill, which i am not.

It's probably happened but I bet the reality is, it ain't likely.

First of all is gonna completely Jack up your car door and probably get some fender too.
Second, it doesn't take a rocket surgeon to realize it's assault if not attempted murder.

Splitting may annoy people but few, if any, are gonna go that far.

I'm thinking he took it out of context when he was asked the question.

He probably thought it meant cutting a rail in half instead of drawing it all up the dollar bill in one attempt. (lanesplitting)

When is he going to post his response on here?

I heard that on the radio this morning. Sounded like they cherry picked OD's statements, but he did make a good point about how people around here really can't drive and don't care to use blinkers or even look when changing lanes.

The face palm moment was when Matt Patrick (That guy is a total douche nozzle) chimed in with his "witty" remark that "only one other state allows this....I think you can guess which one that is....California", as if because California allows it then it MUST automatically be a terrible idea.
