Was saving for a bike...

Got a Suzuki S40 very good price, after reading good things about them.

My friend calls it 'half a Harley'. Says I only qualify for half a tattoo...

But I have no idea if it sounds or acts properly.

I live near 1960 & Cypresswood. Anyone in Spring/Humble or around, that has one also, and could cruise by and share tips? Appreciate it.

Thanks, Tom in Spring

I've seen many friends lose their battle with Harley syndrome. You saved yourself from having to wear a cutoff t-shirt, goatee, leather vest and bandana 2 days out of the week. Plus, you won't have to carry around a quart of oil with that Suzuki.

Motorcycles Unlimited is right around the corner from you on 1960 and I would HIGHLY suggest you take the bike in and have Patrick look at it. Great shop and great guys (and gals) in there and they know their .

Is it giving you some indication there's a problem?

I agree 100% with 40acres. Go see Patrick at Motorcycles Unlimited. They'll look over your bike for free, let you know if there's a problem.
You won't find a bike shop that will treat you better. I live in Pearland and drive 45 minutes to go there.

Thanks all. Been real sick these last few days. Glad it's a rainy weekend so I can continue wrenching. Don't recall it, but I must have spent ALOT of time fitting my last bike. This one already has way more 'shop' time than road time.

Maybe get to MC Unlimited tomorrow to check out the stuff and lighten my wallet a little. Slow and easy, but I'll be out there soon enough.

Happy Ram year.!
