1995 Kawasaki Concours

Old guy, new member

I've been riding for 50+ years, and not ready to quit just yet. I've owned 4 Moto Guzzis (my favorites), 3 BMWs, one old Bonneville, a slew of Japanese bikes, and even a couple of Vespas. Over the course of 500,000+ miles on two wheels, I've made a dozen or so 1,000 mile days, but never did the Iron But documentation (most of those days were 40 years aqo). I don't think it matters what we ride, so long as we ride and ride smart.

I live on a ranch in Waller County, and love the roads that are right outside the ranch gate. Way more enjoyable than when I lived in Houston and had to ride for 45 minutes, just to get to a good road without a bunch of traffic.

I'm a USN veteran ('70-'73) FMF medical corpsman. Looking forward to getting to know folks on the forum.

Sure, I've been called a xenophobe, but the truth is, I'm not. I honestly just feel that America is the best country and the other countries aren't as good. That used to be called patriotism.

yeah. I thought it'd be like riding with a condescending rossi.

Welcome, Ron!
Dirt is for riding, the street merely gets you there.
