Video Alloy wheel thieves run over two police motorcycles
Not quite a clean getaway
THIS is the moment a getaway driver runs over two police motorcycles having been spotted trying to steal alloy wheels from a parked car.
The CCTV footage shows the crooks pulled up alongside a car attempting to shield the view of their crime.
After loosening the wheel nuts from the alloy wheel, an accomplice then bounces the target vehicle with his bare hands to help wrench the wheel free.
Two police motorcyclists then arrive on scene.
After attempting to open up the rear passenger door of the thieves’ vehicle, one of the officers is pinned up against another car before his motorcycle is reversed into.
The driver then speeds forwards to make a getaway, running over a second police motorcycle in the process.
The incident happened outside the Medical University in Puebla City, Mexico, where it was caught on a security camera.
Footage of the attempted theft was then posted online in a bid to help identify the thieves.
Guess the engines
How not to panic brake
Look ma, no hands!
