The caurosel is actually known as 9b by most TWS (Texas World Speedway) long timers... 9a is the right hander down hill infront of the tire wall. Making the Kink T10... just call it the kink, hahaha.

Yeah, lots of highsides there because people get a little too hamfisted....*
after this i'll be really watchin it thru there,, i was nervous of that turn the very first time i went thru it* and, prolly always will be.
Ive had a close encoutner there before... I last track day actually I was coming through the kink and I slid out my rear and it scared the out of me. I was in control but I wasnt expeting it.
I seem to get a little slide sometimes going through turn 2 also.

fifth or sixth lap - first session of the day on monday i seriously slid going through there but managed to save it...

i dunno if i read it on here or heard somebody say it at the track... but seems like there was a story about a car with a leaking crank case that wasn't caught until he had done a few laps already...* :eh:

Glad u kept it in control.. Ive seen some nasty highsides there

Yeah Ive heard something about that oil story actually. Even a little while back we went to the track they had done some cleanup there cuz of an oil spill. They had that powder layed out to dissipate the grease.
