Flashing And Fuel Mapping

Im looking to flash my ecu and maybe add a Bazzaz or Dynojet to my 2014 Zx6. Will I lose the function of my power options and traction control that comes with the bike?

Why flash AND mess with bazzaz or DJ?

If you're not racing, there's no need to do both on the zx6r. And no, it won't mess with your current electronics. This has been discussed over and over again on zx6r.com, and there's even a massive thread on flashing and fuel controllers over there from people that have actually worked for bazzaz.

No I don't plan on racing it. It is my daily driver but bought my exhaust to put on it (Scorpion Slip On). I just don't want the engine to have any issues. I also have installed a KN Filter on it also. No further plans for the bike other than upgrading the brakes a little.

There will be no ill effects to your engine by just running a slip-on (nice choice though, love my scorpion). When you replace the header with a race header (mjs, pinebox or other aftermarket header) you will need a power comander/bazzaz AND a tune as those will eliminate the stock cat in the header. Until then, don't even worry about it.

Thanks I went on zx6r.com and found a thread with my exact question. Just like you said. By any chance did you eliminate your air system for your exhaust?
