Noob ride near Pearland, Manvel, Alvin?

Hey y'all. I'm a new rider, just started in last September. I usually ride weekend mornings. I'm looking to meet some fellow riders. Anyone interested in hosting a noob ride this weekend starting near Pearland area and heading south? Most rides seem to start north at speeds my 250 probably can't handle.

Welcome. If a ride is hosted, I am very interested in attending. I don't know any good routes on this side of town, if they even exist

I live in the south side but usually only ride the north. All the good routes seem to be on the north side of houston or out of town.

If I ever get my kitchen remodel done I'll host a south side noob ride. Will probably be a couple of weeks, though.

I see you have hosting a Grom ride starting in Magnolia. Do you ride the Grom from La Porte? How does it handle the long freeway ride there?

Well start an event page then and let's get the signups going. I'll buy lunch for whoever steps up to host the event.

I'm open to suggestions. I'd say meet up on telephone rd and broadway Buc ees at 9am, ride for 1-2 hrs towards somewhere for lunch. Any suggestions on a good place to stop and eat?

I don't know any good routes so I'm not sure what part of town you'd want to eat on, however, if there's one place I can never resist recommending it's gilhooleys in San Leon.

I was thinking head down 288, go west on 1462, south on cow creek, then head down 36 and eventually get back on 288/332 down to surfside.

How about down 521 to 42 then hit cow creek?

Sorry about the last minute notice. My riding experience may be limited but it still beats my group ride planning.

Let's go 2/8, Sunday, tomorrow morning an ride 42 and cow creek. 10 am. Meet at bucees at fm2234, Shadow Creek near 288.

Bumblebee, would you like to lead?
