My girlfriend said that if she didn't just have surgery the day before, that she would have been there, wearing my leathers and riding my bike. I asked her if she wasn't doped up and didn't go, why would she not have gone and her response was "Because I can go for free." I asked her what she meant and her reply was "You have a membership and I am your guest." LOL I love how smart she is sometimes!
Otherwise her choices would have been that she didn't have leathers, and it was HOT AS HEEL out there :P

Yes it is expensive to play for a day at the track.
But if you REALLY want it, you'll find a way.

You can always corner work to earn a credit.

Or... you can work 7 days a week like I do.

Eric begged me a many a times to come to the track and at least try it once. My excuse every time was, ya'll are gonna push me off the track for going so slow, I can't pay $200 for 1 day when I can ride the street all day for free, and I DON'T WANNA MY BIKE UP.

The truth of the matter was, I WAS INTIMIDATED BY THE TRACK (elbow CURVES which I hate curves, no straights, and fast riders that would buzz me every 20 seconds).

After participating in a track day, my mind set has definately changed about it. I can blow $200 just on clothes and eating out every day, why not spend it on a day of fun in a SAFE environment, where a bonus is I ACTUALLY LEARN how to ride my bike better on the street!!!! As for phucking my bike up, well I can do that just as easy on the street, no matter HOW CAREFUL I AM. Once I got a set of leathers, a track day was a no brainer for me, it just took the guts to say, "giddy up , get ur scary out there"!!!

SOOOOOOO GIDDY UP B!TCHES AND GET UR SCARY OUT THERE!!!!

That's all it is, and rightfully so. I think the 1st day i went to spectate i saw only Brena, I'm not sure if i saw any other girls. Even though she was getting passed, she had my respect b/c she was OUT THERE actually TRYING!! It looked intimidating then, but u just have to step ur game up and at least try!!!

To counter fear:

Fact: There are no cars, no playing children, no dogs, cats or horses on the track.
Fact: There is an instructor with you.
Fact: The track's lane is twice as wide as a regular traffic lane.
Fact: There is visibility through all turns.
Fact: There are no trees or fences or light poles on the side of the road to run into.
Fact: Did I mention, there are no cars ... no soccermoms in big SUVs, no cellphone holding idiots, no drunks, no coffee drinking, paper reading, 'not seeing you' cagers.
Fact: You can go as slow or as fast as you want to go.
Fact: Not one girl has crashed at the All Girls Trackday.
Fact: At the All Girls Trackday as well as the last Noobday, only a few girls had a a runoff and all were absolutely fine except for one slightly bruised thumb. (dropping your hair dryer on your hand would've hurt more)
Fact: All girls and bikes stayed pretty and healthy throughout the trackday.
Fact: No matter how slow they started, all girls had improved by the end of the day tremendously.
Fact: A lot of girls are riding, heck, an all girls trackday is only girls!

I was getting passed like I was standing still :laughing6.... Was kinda nice to pass some of yall up . I did notice though being one fo the faster ones out there because I have done more track days than most of the girls out there I did not feel like I was pushing myself as much as I did when riding with the big boys... Could be cause of my broken though too... Hoping to pick up some speed on th16th
