It took me a long time to learn- I always honestly believed they were truly interested in right and wrong.
Chill out dood they're traffic tickets, no one gets the death penalty for speeding, not even in Texas. Yeah it's a game but it's over when you get caught. You think that there is a lack of concern when you go to court? I challenge you to say that to the judge the next time you go there. I assure you that they will make your concerns their highest priority and demonstrate how serious they are about their judicial proceedings.

actually, they would rather hit you in the pocketbook than have you be non-productive and costing society by sitting in jail.

Money out of pocket seems to get the attention of most people so they use it every chance they can. Keeps the economy going and you on the street.

4 bills is better than sitting in jail, which from my understanding is an option for an officer for anything over 20mph over the speed limit.

Tell that to Nicole Smiths family... OJ wasn't charged with just traffic tickets. There is a lack of concern- what LA LA land do you live in?

i think you oonly get so many credit dollars for every day that you are in jail. $435 may be more than a day or 2

If that keeps it off your record- it doesn't seem like a bad deal considering how much it will cost you in the long rin w/ Ins. premiums. But man- jail sucks so bad!! I spent 12 hrs downtown one time- it seemed like an eternity.

I know that IS how PI works... which is considered "criminal"... so not sure about "traffic"... I learned the hard way- first time I was ever arrested- I bonded out early (250 bucks) then found out had I stayed just 2 more hrs- It would have been "time served" and cost me nothing. :BangHead:

lawyer, if its a small town better, cuz the judges get dumber as the town gets smaller. Besides, do you really think the cop could have accurately clocked you from the other side of the freeway with knows how many cars running in between you and the radar?

LOL- yep thats where I was- in a room with about 20-30 repeat offenders... there was one steel toilet in the middle of the cell w/ NO toilet paper. I had to go so bad my stomach was cramping... but I was like "oh naw"- I'll deal with the pain!
