I remember that. I can't remember who it was but he was a big name pro. He stopped to do a burnout at the end of a race and the other guy didn't see him. Both were distracted I guess.
One of them was injured badly enough to end his career.
Any one remember?

Hey Bumblebee - I believe the incident you remember was between Bubba Shobert and Kevin Magee at Laguna Seca. I want to say it was around 1988, but honestly don't remember the date. This video looks much more recent than that, but the situation was the same... Magee stopped to do a burnout on the cool-down lap after the checkered flag, and Shobert didn't see him. Ugly crash that effectively ended Shobert's career.
