inspection Question (will it pass)

ok what is all needed to pass inspection? i am going to be getting a 929 in a week or two.

i know that it has no signals what so ever. i hear that either you have all four that works or you don't have any at all rule.

Insurance is always a must.

mirrors- i know you need the mirrors to pass.

License plate - the bike does not have a license plate yet. do i need plates before i get a inspection?

I thought that you just had to have one mirror? No? And only on the (left?) side?

I don't think you need a plate. There is an option that says no plate in the computer.

You need registration to get inspection and that is stuck on your plate, so why wouldn't you need a plate

no plate is neeeded. you have time after you bought the bike to get a plate. inspection is seperate from the plate. you need insurance, headlight with hi/lo beam, brake light from both pedals, tailight, horn, mirrors, etc

the reason i was asking if i needed a license plate or not to pass inspection, because the bike doesn't come with one. i rather just get inspection out of the way while i wait for my plates to come in.

It's the other way around. Need inspection to get registration. the registration is the sticker actually on your plate.

There is always a way to get around inspection even if your bike is as illegal as they come. lol Thats not really an issue now-a-days...

as far as the plates go, no need for them for an inspection. blinkers...it really depends on the inspector. you'll need to get a VI-30 form (aka green sheet even though it's white) along with the inspection. if you're on the SE side of town hit me up via pm
