KTM 620 Seized- stalled going down the freeway  Where to start?

So I've been having a heck of a time with this bike ever since I bought it last summer. Seems like every time I try to take it off the island, something goes wrong. 1997 KTM Duke 620cc. 10,000 miles. For today's issue, it's just plain dead. Stalled on me going up 45 this morning, was gonna run the forest with the crew. Started feeling warm right under my , but I didn't think any thing of it at first. About 1 min later, I lost all power, pulled off to the shoulder. Wouldn't start (has juice, but won't even try to turn over), and noticed oil slowly dripping from the airbox (right under the seat, in front of the battery on this bike). Air filter has oil all over it. Piston is seized, best I can tell. Can't kick it at all. I got a ride back home and have the bike here now, but I don't really know where to start. I know anything that would cause oil to get into the airbox can't be good.....any suggestions of what to look at first?

Usually in a thumper if the oil is over serviced it will go from the crankcase vent into the airbox. Maybe u sucked up some of that oil into the top of the piston which made it seize since u cant compress a fluid....try pulling the spark plug and kick it over
If you can read this, thank a teacher, because its in English, thank a soldier"
