The 06 GSXR 600 and 750 have a bug with the the lights. Take it to the dealer to get it fixed.

Yup time to get a Honda or Kawi! What were you doing when the light came on? Accelerating/braking? How many miles do you have on it? When was the last service? Do you check oil level before every ride? If the light said FI it means Fuel Injection. NEED MORE INFO!

Oil change interval? I recommend every 2500 - 3000 miles.

As far as your FI light, does it stay on when the bike is running or just when the key is in the "on" position but engine not running?

If you want, bring it by and I can see what code it is, no charge.

oil change intervals are in your manual as well.

600, 1k, 4k, 7k, and so on.

i changed mine at 6k, 1k, 3k, 5k....basically every 2k miles after the first 2 break-in oil changes.

So you didn't break it in? Did you change the oil after the first few hundred miles? That is when your motor builds up the most aluminum deposits from you rings seating in your bores. You have been doing burnouts too, how are you doing the burnouts? Wow...

Confused..

you mean instead of breaking in the motor, you burnt it out?? :confused2
I am really confused, as stated above in other posts. I would suggest explaining the 'red light' again, every small step.

What I got out of it is that you were filling up with gas, and when you turned on the ignition switch, the gauges went through their test mode, where all lights come on and needles usually sweep from low to high and back. Did the light come on while the engine was running, or was the key on without the engine running?

From my experience on Motohouston, most people know each other on here personally. MH is a very tight-knit group of people that all enjoy the same hobby. Obviously you are new to MH, as I was not so long ago. Please try to realize that it is a privilege to post on here.. Post nice, play it safe for a while till people realize that you are a worthwhile addition to 'the MH family' and that you're not just a complete Jackhole.
