Houston Klim dealer

Any Houston dealer carries Klim? I think all of the BMW dealers only stock BMW gear now and 2 Wheel Toyz doesn't have Klim on their website.

Probably will buy a Overland jacket and want to try it on and support local dealer if possible.

IMHO, it is the most overpriced, overrated gear on the market.

And you wont find a local dealer, Not sure there is one in TX....

Well I need a new cold weather, waterproof jacket. Compared to a common cheaper jacket like an Alpinestars Andes the Klim Overland has
  • Gore Tex instead of whatever Drystar is
  • 840D Cordura instead of 600 polyester
  • much better CE armor including back
  • Vents that go directly to the body instead of just venting to the liner
Doesn't completely look ADV dorkish either.

What do you wear in the cold like today? My old jacket "cold weather" jacket is toast.

I have two Fieldsheer jackets, Tourmaster raingear, Warm and safe heated gear (liner and gloves). For summer I wear Olympia mesh jacket and pants.

I also have Olympia fall/winter pants.

Off road/dualsport gear is a mix of Fox and other stuff. $600 sidi boots

I am not a cheap when it comes to protecting my skin, but I would rather have a mix of gear vs one decent jacket.

I am sure you are like me, and work your off for your money.
$400 + on ONE HALF of a full set of gear is kinda.....to me.
If Klim was as durable as my race leathers, I would not dislike them so much. Is Klim junk? Not by any means, is it worth what they ask for it? Not really. It looks the same as if someone crashed in Olympia, Fieldsheer A*, etc.

Does it look great hanging on the bars of a 1200GSA or a 1190ADV, outside of Starbucks? right it does, so does all the Touratech bolted on underneath it

Sorry if i just threw out my opinions when they were not asked, nor were they warranted.

I would rather have 3 sets of street gear multiple gloves, rather one set of over priced gear.

JMHO

If You DO have your heart set on Klim, PM me, I have a place that may give you a better price. Good guys on the east coast. I miss riding with them

Differing opinions are great. Some cheap stuff is fine but after a while I just want to get a proper cold weather waterproof jacket and 400 bucks is a reasonable price for gore tex. Would appreciate any msgs for a cheaper price. Thanks
