how can a band thats always been mainstream with music videos sell out?

its not "selling out", because believe me brudda, this album will not sell. im all for trying new things and new sounds, but at least make it sound good! its what music is all about. if i wanted this kind of sappy stuff, id turn to michael bolton. but i want Linkin Park.
