BMW S1000XR and F800R UK prices announced

BMW Motorrad UK has announced prices for the new S1000XR sports-tourer and F800R naked bike.

Rivaling Ducati’s Multistrada, the 160hp S1000XR will cost £12,400 on-the-road and comes with ABS, traction control and two riding modes as standard.

Two higher-spec variants of the XR will also be available, the Sport for £13,645 on-the-road and the Sport SE for £14,750 on-the-road.

All three XR models will be launched this summer.

The revised F800R with new fairings and a tweaked engine that makes slightly more power than the previous model will be available from February 7 and costs £7,595.
