I dont ride streets much any more when i do, i have to try hard not to push it as its starting to become really easy to push it harder on the streets with less effort. I am mainly using bike for commuting now. I have not been out to any twisties in a long time.

I ride the streets as a commuter transit. Its a bike, it gets good gas milage, and its fun, so I ride it to work and back. On the weekends, the wife and I take it out into the country.

I commute to work, I've been working pretty hard on getting my wife to let me take my bike onto the track. That's something I've always wanted to do.

It's a matter of economics. I commute to save petrol - can't remember the last time I rode on the street just to have fun - would rather ride mini's or go to a motocross track while waiting for the next track day to come around.

I will still ride around the neigborhood and maybe some touring but getting my thrills from the streets is over. That track pipe has won me over.

I like how the poll says "...streets still" as if I didn't get the memo that the streets are soooo last year.....:laughing6

If I owned a racetrack that I could ride everyday, I'd happily be "track-only."

I am going to be investing in a track bike in the near future. I should have one in a few months. I however would never pick riding track over street. Just do both!

I'm all streets, but with a lot of recent events, i've become a little more tamed on the streets. After saturday, I'm all for track riding, it's what riding is all about!!!

it's really not fair to ask this of a person that has never been on the track. it's easy to say I'll never give up the street if you've never been on the track. Heck i said the same thing until my first track day. that (street riding) all went out the window after that.

I think he is just checking if there are others like him.

I like riding in the street, long distance not the local stuff and with responsible people. Tired of riding with squids. When the cops hit the lights, squids dispersed like degreaser in oil. The responsible one got pulled over because they're associated with the squids.
