Does he have a website, or a phone number I could call? I just bought a really nice Vanson jacket and dangit! ... my arms are just too short, so I need to get the sleeves shortened, I'm hoping this is something I can take care of locally and not have to send it in to Vanson.

Are you sure your arms are to short? Have you put the jacket on and sat on the bike?

yeah. I rode about 20 miles with the jacket ... with it all zipped up and in my standard riding position, the end of the sleeve comes just under the widest part of my hand. It actually feels tight ... not snug.

I'm going to give Jesses a call

Jesse's Boots on College st. in South Houston. I just had them alter some leather pants for me in March. They had to take in the waist 2", add a full waist zipper and a crotch zipper....did it all for $150. You can not tell they ever touched them.
