servo buddy help

Hey guys need help with my wife's 2006 gsxr 600 ,the flap on the down pipe of the exhaust broke loose then the servo went bad ,the bike ran terrible on the low rpms and I had a F1 code . so I bought a woodcraft servo buddy and that fixed the f1 code but now the bike seems to run lean and will not idle or rev up at all , feels like its running on 3 cylinder
Any help would be great ,,,,,, we are selling the bike so I need her fixed
Thanks
Bob

Its possible that the flap is stuck in a closed position restricting the flow of the exhausts. Try using some pliers and with the bike running move the flap forward and backwards you should hear a distinct difference between open and closed. Closed it will mute the exhaust sound along with F with the bikes rpms. might need to have it removed or possible just need to get a PCV.

Are you using an aftermarket exhaust? Mine modulates bad when I first start it up and at low rpm for the first minute or so when I don't have the baffle in my 2bro slip on. With the baffle it doesn't do it at all.

It doesn't sound like your issue is related to the servo/servo buddy at all. Have you tested all of your coil packs? The servo motor and the butterfly valve have no affect on how your bike runs. It sounds like you had 2 problems to start with and you've fixed one of them.

If your willing to meetup somewhere I can bring that baffle and let you try it with it in there. I meet with a bunch of motorcycle friends every other week at Shepherd Park Draught House off of 610. Next one is Feb 3rd. You can bring your bike and try it.
