Exclamation POSTPONED! Motorcycles Unlimited Free Basic Maintenance Class, Saturday January 31st!

Motorcycles Unlimited Free Basic Maintenance Class, Saturday January 31st!

We're a bit overdue.
As promised! It's that time again!

I've been involved with MH ever since it's inception, when Chris invited me over to post and help with tech questions etc.

I would like to take it a step further.

We see bikes daily at the shop that are in desperate need of basic maintenance.
Minor things that can easily be done by their owners but aren't, and then do turn into something major.

Most of the time it's because the owner isn't aware of what it is or how to do it.

So here's what I'm going to do;

Once every couple of months at 9:30 a.m., we will be having a free Basic Bike Maintenance Workshop.

I will choose one participants bike, we will put it on a lift and go over all of the basic maintenance items that need to be done, and how to do them.

At the same time we will answer any basic maintenance questions you may have.

Because I would like everyone attending to be able to see everything, I'm limiting the workshop to 14-15 attendees each time.

The next one will be Saturday May 24th at 9:30 a.m..

If the weather is too bad to ride, no worries, I'll put one of my bikes up.

Hope to see you all there!

Please post up on this thread if you're planning to attending.

I think I keep my bike pretty well maintained but I would like to attend. Could always learn more and would like to pick up some tricks.

Would valve checks be basic maintenance and will it be covered?

Sorry but no, that's more of an advanced service item.

I've come down with a bad upper respiratory infection that has now turned into walking pneumonia.
As such I will unfortunately have to postpone the class until 2/21.
My apologies.

Bad news Patrick, get well...

BUT, put me down for the later class please, I should be able to make that one weather permitting.

Also, is suspension adjustment (sag, rebound, etc) part of this?

To be honest after I got back to work from being sick I have not had the time to do it.
I will try to schedule something in late March.
