Their and Mom and Pop shop, Pop knows the bikes. Mom is front desk. Cheap tire changes! They are not a high end dealer and don't rep themselves to be. They sell a few used bikes and bike toys. Let them stand as what they are.

My point was; are you buying stock in their company, or a motorcycle?

actually last year I bought a used car (300 SRT8) and my vulcan. at multiple locations I found there was little to no difference in price between cash and financed. typically was a couple hundred on the bike and 5-800 on the car. I get the impression alot of these places make their money by financing loans and that is their preferred method of sale.

I'm sure it is, but they also should consider that you have 100% of the cash right there and then and that should mean something to them. If it doesn't, I go elsewhere because they are clearly all about getting every dollar they can from their customers.

When I bought my bike there was a 800 dollar difference on a 3800 dollar price tag.
I guess it just depends on the dealer. I've purchased several cash cars at buy here pay here over the years and got them to knock anywhere from 800-1500 off of cheap cars that were in the 2000-3000 range.

nowadays it's too easy to find something on craigslist for me to deal with a dealership that won't budge on the price if you have cash.

Dont like it dont buy it. Dont want spam? Stay off craigslist. Or you could come and cry on the internet some more........
