Angry Stolen package: Ride Smart Taichi White Jacket and Black Pants

Please be on the lookout for a brand new white leather jacket and black riding leather pants from Ride Smart Taichi. I ordered them from Japan from the website Webike.

The package is missing so I assume someone stole it. I was on vacation, and had USPS (Post Office) hold my mail for later pickup. I landed yesterday and discovered the post office lost my Hold Mail order form so they delivered my package despite no one being home for 10 days. The mailman left it on my front door without any signature confirmation. Clearly, someone saw it lying there and grabbed it.

Had a crappy time trying to get help at the post office and calling various numbers. They had an indifferent attitude at losing the Hold Mail form with shoulder shrugs. I've ordered from Japanese and European websites before, and they've always used DHL, FedEx, or UPS. Never had a bad experience with those guys. Also, I live in a decent neighborhood so I never had a surveillance system. That's changing asap.

You mean to tell me a company sent you $1000+ worth of merchandise and didn't require a signature for delivery!? That's on Webike just as much as it is on USPS. Id contact the vendor and tell them it's missing. Most reputable dealers will send you a new one and file a claim on their end. This time with the signature option selected. What a bunch of schmucks.

Ask your neighbors if they had it accidently delivered to them, just be like hey I just got back so if someone tried to return it I wasn't home. They might give it up

Bummer, because signature is required for insured items valued over $700.

Check Craigslist every day for a few months. They will turn up.

call the company and let them know you never got them. We had a package delivered late, we paid for express shipping to get it before we went on vacation and it arrived after we left, five days after it was scheduled. When we got home it was gone. We called and explained what happened and they sent another.

They lost your hold mail order form! What a bunch of dipshits over at USPS! I would file a claim with them seeing as that was the entire reason for holding your mail in the first place. Next time have it delivered at a family member's office if possible. Bummer man!

Call the company and tell them it never showed up. They should replace it, it's on them for not requiring signature. Has happened to me before and they replaced it no problem...

If that doesn't work I'd try the post office, but don't cross your fingers it's the government.

happened in my neighborhood and they had a video of the kid doing it with their porch cam. They posted the video on the home owners association website and his friends ratted him out the same day and returned the item lol...it ended up making the news, porch cam video of him doing it and all.
Bet that was embarrassing as for the kids parents. He never pressed charges, just wanted his back.

Do this immediately. Just tell the credit card company that the company informed you it was delivered 10 days ago and you never received it. Don't say anything else such as you haven't been home in 10 days. Might work.

Call the business first. If they don't fix it, then call your bank.

Thank you everyone for your suggestions.

Neighbors never got it. The house next door is empty, and is being renovated as part of the sale. Those laborers would have a clear view of my front door for 7 days so they're my likely suspects.

I emailed Webike on Saturday. They said they'd respond in two business days. Currently it's 7:45 AM in Tokyo, Tuesday since they're 15 hours ahead of us. They should respond by 5 PM Tokyo time otherwise I'm emailing them again saying I'll have the charges disputed through my bank.

Well they finally got back to me.

Quote:
Thank you for shopping at Webike.

We have just claimed to EMS of Japan Post to search for the latest update of you items.
We are terribly sorry for all this trouble, but please understand that it may take up to some weeks for an answer from EMS of Japan Post.
We will report further information after receieving an answer from EMS.
Please feel free to ask any other questions you may have.

We look forward to serving you at

What sucks is that I have to twiddle my thumbs for weeks while Japan's Post Office talks to USPS. I was hoping that they'd send out another order, and investigate what happened to the missing one.

1) They screwed up by not checking the signature confirmation box.
2) I shouldn't have to wait additional weeks because of #1 since they can send another order.

Calling them in 9 hours when it's morning in Tokyo. I would've ordered through Moto Liberty in Dallas however they didn't carry my size and their prices were $300 more.
