This the bike I read about with the "pushrod V8 cut in half" design I have read about, correct?

edit* I see the camshaft in the engine picture, so yes it is.

I'm kind of surprised they couldn't break 170mph at Bonneville with a 1650cc motor.

sorry guys have been selling motorcycles in the rain so i just got back on, it is basically half of a small block chevy tweaked to pull 170hp. being new to bmw and triumphs (i ride a fatboy) what i like about the bikes and company is the american gumption to build a higher end sport/tourer to compete in that segment of the market which is dominated by imports. when they had their "unveiling" in new york a few weeks ago the italians and japanese were in the audience taking notes. i wish them well not just because my team will be selling them but as an american company it needs to be a success story.

Not in the market unless I win the lotto. I'd like to see one in person, maybe sit on it and rev the motor once.

Not just a LS motor cut in half but also scaled down a little I believe.

Cool bike, American made, looks like the grandson of the k100 bmw from 1991. Also looks about 10 years late to the party.

HP alone is not what defines a superbike

Boss Hoss BHC 3 LS 300 Picture 04

295 HP but not a Superbike

Will never have another bike with white wheels. The cleaning is next to impossible. Especially with a chain in the back.

Why do they list the engine weight but not the bike's weight? Is heavy or light a good thing on American engine weight?
