Priceless

Cost of a new front break lever: $65
Price of new Foot peg: $26
Cost of ride to Patrick: undisclosed favor to friend

Bruised mexican ego because you whipped out while standing still at a stop light in front of all your new friends because you wore sneakers instead of your moto-boots: Priceless

Lesson learned: wear all your gear, especially when you are short as sh*t and are balancing a bike on one tippy toe in sneakers instead of boots.

Feel free to laugh, why I posted. It was funny, well, not to me, but I'd laugh if it wasn't me.

heh, actually, my boots do give me extra height. I was just being lazy and wore everything BUT my boots. And I don't think I'll be sharing this story by the water cooler. lose cool points and all, though I'm sure I'm at a negative right about now...

Cuz I'm a short sh*t, and the boots give me traction and an extra half inch of height.

As for adjusting the height, I've done it before, but the bike handled funny, so I had it set back and HAD been careful. Just carelessness. Lesson learned. Bikes already at Patrick's.
