Day time running lights?

What's up guys. I noticed my bike didn't have daytime running lights in the rear. So I took my seat off and checked the lights and their isn't a spot of them and their not with the break light. The plate light is pretty bright, is that the acting daytime running lights? The bike is a 2003 honda vtr 1000 f.

Thanks for the help,
Cameron

Daytime running lights? Your low beams and brake light should automatically turn on when the bike is started. There could be a short somewhere in the wiring that's causing to not illuminate.

Broken filament if dual filament.
Replace.

Most of the Japanese bikes have dual filament directional in the front for running lights but only single in the rear. the rear directional probably only have tow wires whereas the front will have three.
