I will come, as long as I don't have a killer hangover.

I'm willing to go, but I'm on a 500. Don't know if I can hang with the group on the straights...

well I got past the hangover. Then I was tightening my chain, and my tire has white thread showing... I'm not going to be able to go on that bald tire.

YEAH, that sucks....next time man. THis will be my last ride on this rear tire as well....but I still got a little beef left on mine. Fayetville is not one place you want to get stuck with a flat...it's a long walk back

MY REPORT

Good ride today guys....240 miles clocked on my bike from gas station to garage.:icon_bigg Glad we had no incidents, minus the English guy that tried to keep up with the guys in front(<----Not a MH member or part of our ride, just happened to come up in front of us while we were riding). We stopped, guy was okay....looked like an 06 or 07 ZX10 (an orange one at that). I'm thinking F*&$!!!!! Jimmy's just ran wide (JimmyZX6)....run over to the guy and it's not Jimmy...I'm like WTF, who is this? Anyway, guy must of had someone watching over his lil . He missed at least 4 trees (that were 12 inch diameter at least) both with his body and bike . He was fine, bike suffered very minimal damage (cracked upper), and his lower ribs were a little sore. This guy was wearing a helmet, gloves, boots (although not racing boots) and leather jacket. He crashed at maybe 60 mph and RODE his happy home. Got to meet the property owners where he parked his bike in their front lawn. Very nice older couple...they said it happens pretty often, but usually through the brush and barb wire fence along there property. They did however mention that it's usually cruisers they find tangled in the fence or wadded up in the ditch. <---ok, not really that funny, but.........:laughing6 Other than that, our ride was flawless. Everyone maintained a great pace and formation on the freeway (I did have to put everyone over in one lane though)....<---It makes cagers happier if we are in one long line rather than clogging two lanes.....this to them makes 'em freak out when they see the whole freeway is occupied and for whatever reason sparks road rage. Someone always has to be faster..even when travelling 15 mph over the posted speed limit. Hope those who split off during the ride made it home safely and those that were still riding after I split at 1488 and 290 make it home in one piece as well. Good ride, good times, and good food. Hope to do it again soon.

DBuck

Jimmy, would you like to buy a (.)? j/k
Pretty good ride guys,
hot as for me though. Props to the ones that rode within their limits, and a couple of the others might want to step it down a notch. We don't need to loose any more riders.

It was a pleasure to meet and ride with all of the riders this morning.
Nice ride this morning, but dammit you all tear up the backroads.
I'm down to ride again, but let's try to keep under 180 mph!!!! and let's leave earlier.

sorry about being late but my wake up call was late:icon_bigg

yeah the sv is no fun on straights. I'll be keeping it on the track and just few random urban assault jaunts.

Thanks for the ride today guys! Sorry I had to jet early - had a 2'oclock with the realtor. But I'm glad coz I just wasn't feelin it today and neither was the bike but back home safe to give another day out.

Red Jet - I think I was with you guys on 290 coming home...sorry I peeled away but I was super late, super annoyed with traffic and had a super sore from riding so I had to just get home!!!

Hope you had no probs!
