FYI James, Old Dudes is having a ride from the west side trailhead off fs 208 near where you're starting from at 9:30. Don't know the route but if you get no takers you might want to hook up with those guys. 7 signed up so far.

Thanks B, I'm sure as long as we're on time getting there we will run into them at the trail head, I'm picking up a new woods rider and meeting several others there.

They can last as long as you want them to last, you can ride for 30 minutes or you can ride for 8 hours, it depends on how long you want to ride.

Its going down. Sticking with beer only tonight so I can last longer than an hour or two. Hard to do with my family.

Rode the Triumph Street Triple out to the west side trailhead this morning and visited with the ODODB guys and Byrdman and his friends before taking off to ride back, dirt riding was definitely going to be good today, my street bike ride was mainly on some slick damp forest roads, think they will have more fun than I did......

It was good meeting you 3 love birds!! Dirt was perfect and the ride in the rain was cool too. we did around the same mileage but we may have done it in half the time as you 3 We only had 1/2 of a picnic and a 20 minute gas stop to pick up a few more riders. After the rain, the roots became quite slick and took a few riders down but overall it was a perfect riding day.

Don't forget next Sunday in College Station as long as the rain holds off.

I live next to a freeway. The forest picnics are the only peace and quiet I ever get. I only went down once. Much better than my 6 wrecks on our last outing. Trails were nice. Little wet at the end but I've ridden there in a 24 hour torrential downpour that turned the trails into creeks so it wasn't too bad. May try to make the ride in College Station next week. Property looks pretty nice.
