Nice thing about textile is that you can wet your shirt underneath without damageing jacket.
Wet t-shirt under textile jacket= comfy hot weather protection

I just came back from a short ride and I was wearing my a-star mesh jacket. Definitely comfortable but I felt very unprotected since I'm accustomed to wearing a leather jacket now. If you can only get one jacket, get a perforated leather jacket. As for air flow the a-star t-stunt mesh breathes much better than my a-star stage perforated leather jacket but you're gonna sweat no matter what jacket you wear.

I dunno guys... Have mixed feelings on this one as far as Icon goes. I have the icon motorhead leather jacket and feels great as far as fit and ventilation goes. 1.2mm to 1.4mm cowhide just like all the others :dontknow: Guess I will find out the hard way how good it holds up when I go down ... Anybody on here actually have experience going down with icon leathers???

I stopped by Motorcycles Unlimited yesterday to check out the jackets, but I had a phone call and had to basically walk right out. Hopefully later on during the week I can go back and check them out. What are your opinions on Fieldsheer and Teknic brands?
