Moto Voggers - Any in Houston?

I have been wanting to motovlog for a long time and finally just ordered a cheap lav mic and attached my GoPro to my helmet. Boom, instant vlogging. Well not really, I had a lot of trouble with camera angle and actually turning on my microphone to record audio, but I successfully recorded a vlog on my BMW I broke into two parts last week.

Anyone around here motovlog? Post up your vids/YT channel!

My attempts so far:

I wanted to vlog, even went and bought a Drift HD720 to do so. Get home and then theres no input for a mic. I have a lot of ideas of what i would talk about, just need to get a camera with a mic.

Your video was good

If you want good subscriber numbers you have to be consistent with interesting things to talk about.

Since your in the woodlands, maybe i will see you around.

Aw that sucks! I use the GoPro HD3 with the mic adapter, skeleton case, and the AT3350 lavalier mic. Only thing I don't like so far is the AT3350 has a ton of wire and an external battery you have to remember to turn on...
But the audio is great, I just need a dead cat to cut down on the wind noise. It gets bad over 50mph.

You can probably find a used HD3 black if you are on a budget, great camera and works great for vlogging.

I rarely get to ride, especially in the winter. It will probably end up being once a month or every few weeks if I can get my out on the bike and talk.

Get some winter gear and ride enough to get a regular audience. I don't follow any specific vlog but I would watch any if you ride the RC51.

A good option: http://www.sena.com/product/cameras/...opackforgopro/

And you won't have to worry about extra battery and all that wire.

The days I'm out riding I think about using it as a verbal journal... Maybe get one at the end of the year... Dunno.

Ride on weekends or your days off and record multiply vlogs in a day. That way you can release them once a week and get a consistent schedule. It will build up your subscriber count if they know a vid will be posted a least once a week. Even a night time vlog can be good if your on your way home and just talk about something cool.

Now im considering going ahead and buying a camera with a mic to go ahead and do this. Be a Christmas present to my self.

I also watched your crash at MSRH.
I crashed there earlier this year too. I switched to another bike that wasn't on warmers so i was taking it slow. First lap in the session i go into the left hander right before the keyhole, and lost the front. Im still not a 100% how it happened.

I'm kinda limited to riding on my way to work since when I'm not at work all I want to do is sleep and spend time with my boyfriend and family. I bascally work too much haha. But I like your suggestions, I might be able to get on the bike 2 days out of the week, 30-40 mins commute each direction each day could get a lot of talking in.

Your MSRH crash sounds just like mine! Cold tires are a . My bf fell over in the parking lot from cold, super old tires going like 5mph on his supermoto. I'm definitely wary on the front now.
