Tire straps, we ran out of those and they did not even know where to buy more, when I say we were short, I mean by thousands of feet.

Please don't take it the wrong way, I am glad they are building it and I can't wait to ride out there myself and check it out but they got along ways to go yet and better pick up the pace.

we dont need tirewalls, asphalt or anything, just give us a packed flat surface and we make our own turns.....and the whole track can be a big run off blah hahahaha

how about old concrete slab between the track and tirewall so you can slide on? hopefully they lay something down, i don't think the concrete is going to slow anyone down much before hitting the wall.

I too, sent Tad an email. He did in fact respond. He stated that they where offering free camping, 2 meals a t-shirt and something else.. I can't recall... the email is on my Home PC...

I reponded to him with the question of how do I apply?

He is still looking for cornerworkers too.

Friday is practise, Saturday is Pro Racing and Sunday is Amateur Racing. Sign up and help the AMA Supermoto guys out, plus you get front row seats.

i'm waiting on a catch can and a suspension to come in setup for 175 lbs. If the suspension doesn't come in, I am going to be rigging up something to catch fluids and riding on a mx suspension setup for like 250lbs. in that situation, i am not jumping the bike, because I will be kicked right off of it.

i still need to do some safety wiring too. which i have been putting off for a drill press.

also, i am still waiting on a response about licensing for this event. that may also prevent me from racing.

anyhow, I still plan on being there for Thursday's SM school, and the rest of the weekend's practices and races. should be a load of fun.

I am available to help if you need it. In fact I would not mind be your full time mechanic for the races as well.
