Cylinder head machine shop

Anyone know of a shop in Houston that does good head work for a reasonable price? Need to have a valve job done on an 08 R1

Are the seats bad? Are you replacing valves?

If not, I'd just "lap" the valves in with valve grinding compound yourself...they will seal up fine and not run the risk of getting a sloppy valve job or messing up the seats. Throw some new valve seals in it as well and call it good.

Actually puttin new intake valve guides due to faulty oem parts, replacing one intake valve. Cant lap titanium valves. Also doing seals. Seats are fine bike only has 11k miles

I have a buddy that builds NHRA Pro Stock Engines and machines motorcycle heads on the side.

If you want PM me all the work you need done and any specs you have and I'll ask him if he's interested. I would offer to do it myself but I won't have to tooling to do small valves.

Im waiting on a call from a couple people highly recommended by my local mechanic. If it doesnt pan out I will definitely give you a shout! Thanks for the help!
