Thank you everyone for the advice. We agreed on sport touring. Found a BMW that she liked. A R1200ST. Its a 2005.
I know those models are no longer made but what's y'all's input on an older motorcycle? It has just over 20000 miles.

With good maintenance that motorcycle should just about run forever. The one thing I'd check on before you buy it is whether that was one of the models that had a dodgy final drive. That can be an expensive repair on those, but generally speaking that R1200 is a great engine.

age and mileage dont mean much, '98 with almost 50K miles on it...spent less than $3k on maintenance in the last 8+ years, but its a Honda.
