Atv rider

Hello everyone I'm Dustin! Don't have any street bikes but figured this forum might have some good stuff on offroad atvs.

Hey man hows it going, it's pretty quiet around here for ATV riders. I quit street riding a few years ago and just ride dirt now. I have a 02 Honda 400ex and a 14 RZR 800s LE.

I ride at Creekside in Splendora, DSO in Crosby and Texas Offroad Ranch up around Huntsville.
Me and the RZR have a love hate relationship lol
I really enjoy the ride of it and what it is capable of, but sometimes I feel like it could have been better engineered for the money I paid for it. I definetly regret not buying a 900 or 1000, but it's still fun. It's mainly for my wife, I spend most of my time on my 400

texas is not very offroad friendly, especially around Houston. DSO is fun and pretty big, Creekside is ok but small, and I have never been to TOR. You can ride them in the SHNF if the fit the requirements. But other than that, you need to find some secret spots lol. Only place near here worth a trip is hidden falls in Austin. My KFX should be done in a week or so. We need to get a ride together.

TOR is my new favorite place, it has a lot of trails, without all the mud.

Heard getting into DSO sometimes requires a 4wd all I got is a lil street strip truck and a daily s10.

Ive been there multiple times. I pull my quad with a fwd element lol. But if it has rained I don't go no fun on a sport quad in the mud. May have to check out TOR.

I think you'll be alright at DSO, i've never seen it bad in the drive or parking area.

I don't think he'd do good at TOR that road had some pretty good sand ruts in it last time I was up there about a month ago. Hopefully they have graded it by now. I was with a guy pulling a RZR on a trailer with his 2wd pick up and he had to get a pretty good run at it.

Haven't been to TOR but I've been to General Sam's. Can't ride Sunday taking a class to get my CHL. Hit me up when you guys go riding. I had a rzr 900 but that went with the ex along with the riding crew lol. DSO is fun however the parking lot does get pretty bad with the rain. Looking to meet new people to ride with. I also ride a Harley for cruising and gsxr for fun times lol.

What side of town are you? I'm on the northwest side of town. We went a couple of times in our area and didn't seemed to get harassed. It's an ok size area.
