newb question

i bought some bar end sliders for my bike and they have a large rubber cylinder around an allen head screw. on my bike there is just an big open thread and they do not fit... am i a moron? or did i get the wrong ones?

you got the wrong ones the ones you got are for open ended 7/8's bars you need some that are made to fit your bars (threaded the same) :icon_bigg

Your camera work leaves much to be desired but I think you may have the wrong type. Usually they are a screw in for your app. The expanding type like you bought are for bars that didn't have a bar end slider and are smooth inside.

dont give the guy about his pics, he didnt ask for that, either help him or not. The pics are clear enough for Cody and I to see the problem, and Cody is right.

the bolt would be to small most likely 8 or 10mm and the bolt looks to be 6
