***Stolen Yamaha R1 (customized)***

I recently had my 2007 Yamaha R1 stolen from my apartment complex in Houston. I am new to Houston, and did not even get a chance to enjoy the bike life here. I had custom paint job (all-white) 12 inch stretch with 240 Kit. Air ride, Halo lights, full light kit, full Toce exhaust, power commander, rockford fosgate speakers with bluetooth and fusion amp, aftermarket chrome rims and chrome pegs, tips, handles, etc.

That sucks. I hate to be the one to tell you this, but you are a fool for parking that in an apartment complex. Hope you get it back. If you do, I doubt it will look like this pic. Hope its fully insured for a stated value

Looks like a lot of time and money in it. Houston isnt the place to leave a bike in a parking lot. Especially one that stands out like yours. My first bike was stolen from my apartment

Well, I just moved here. I should have kept it in storage. I had a chain lock and parked it with other bikes that were also locked. We have multi-level garage parking with key-fob only access, as well as security guard at the entrance/exit. None of that seems to matter. They will get it if they really want it. I do have it fully insured, but I won't get back what I put into it.

, that is one sick looking bike! Sorry for your loss. I'm assuming with a multi level garage with key fob access only and a security guard, they don't have a security camera.

That sucks to hear. How long have you been in Houston? I'll keep my eyes open. Also keep an eye on Craigslist in case you notice someone trying to part out the bike

I can't imagine that a thief would try to re-sell a bike that stands out like that anywhere near where it was taken. Good luck to you, I'll keep my eyes open.

No, not yet. I still haven't found it. I've recently purchased another bike, but hopefully I this one will turn up one day. Thanks for asking.

That's stolen from someone...$2000 and being sold out of the back of a truck.

Different rims, headlights, seats and many other different powder coated or rattle canned parts. Not likely it's the OP's bike but it could be. No way in that bike is legit though.
