Barn Find What's it worth? 1999 Nighthawk CB750 343 original miles

That's right, 343 original miles. I know it's not a highly sought after bike but I found something kind of rare in this day and age.

Wanted to share with you all.

hasn't been ridden for 12 years, ethanol gas so doesn't run? As it sits it isn't worth much. If you put the work in with some luck it might be worth a couple grand, good find!

That's great news! Myla is just jealous because we have been waiting for such a deal. I hope you end up turning it into a cafe-racer

Give me a week or two and I'll have it sitting pretty. New tires, cleaned carbs, and purring like a kitten.

It'll not become a cafe racer. A 30k mile one that's cosmetically lacking would be a cafe builder but not one that deserves to be in a Honda Museum. I underrstand it's not a sought after model but the fact that it only has 300 miles alone makes it worth it to someone.

2002 the gas sitting in it might not have had ethanol in. If not, you are in luck and your fuel components won't be corroded to . Is there a forum for build threads here? Would be fun to follow.

How bad were the carbs? Corroded or no ethanol?

Honestly not bad. I have an R1 sitting in my garage right now that the bowls are green from the ethanol. It's gonna need some love this afternoon. I have a guy coming from the Galleria area tonight after I get home to take a look at the CB. Hopefully he'll purchase it.

Yep, the good ole days of ethanol free gas can sit for years. If he is a newb and buys it stress that he needs tires immediately. I agree with not putting tires on it yourself and letting the buyer decide what kind he wants. GLWS
