It seems there are alot of you calling bOolshyt...

It seems there are alot of you calling bOolshyt, do you think Chuck was kncoked out or was he still capable of fighting and was it bOolshyt? Please provide arguments/pictures to support your position such as "he was still swinging", "his eye's weren't glazed over", etc...:icon_bigg

BTW, I think his was knocked out...

Not by the initial "flash" knock out which occurred immediately after the long right hook but rather, while he was on the ground...I'd say about the 4th or 5th hit which preceded Chucks arms going limp. After that hit, he was no longer capable of intelligently defending himself as he was "in the green room" or "knocked out"...

Dude was taking unanswered, full force shots to the head...it would be unsafe to allow Quinton to continue landing those punches. He was stunned on the shot that dropped him. Once he got to the grounded, I'd say after the 3rd or 4th shot...he was in the green room. Out. Gone. Finito

Anybody got a gif of the last few seconds...preferably, right before that right hook all the way through to the stoppage? Maybe it will help for any further analysis. I know Clay-dogg posted one before...I just don't remember where. I'll hop on mma.tv/sherdog n see what they have as far as gif's...

he was out for a few of those hits, it did look like he came back earth, but I don't think he would have been able to come back and defend himself very well

he took at least 3 solid hits, I say it was a good call, the ref jumped in just a split second before he woke up, the call was made while he was out, the only thing you can argue is how long should the ref. allow a man to hit another that is unconcious.

Exactly, and according to UFC rules...the moment a contender is incapable of intelligently defending himself (i.e. not effectively blocking due to incoherence, broken limb, strict unconsciousness, etc), the fight is over.

after the second punch on the ground im sure the ref saw chucks eyes glaze over and stopped it. since chucks a trained fighter, and bad no doubt, i think it was insticnt to punch back even though he was out.

Sean,.... as said in the movie "Friday"...

"You got knocked the f uck out!"

The first right dropped him, then it was the elbow and the punch immediately after that put him out. (if you look closely, one punch bounces his head off the mat, then the next one wakes him up!:laughing6)
