Exclamation Just getting sick of it....

Everytime while watching tv, if something comes on about the war, or the deaths from the war, or anything to do with the war, i tend to change it rather quickly. My girlfriend notice this today and just chuckled. I dont know why i dont watch it, i think the news is full of t on a lot of it but not all. Im watching something on tv right now that has to do with the war. first time since ive been back from iraq (about 3 years i think) i teared up on this young mans story, but on the other story they had, i think i just got more upset. These men and women volunteer for this, no one makes them go. then they come back and trash talk the U.S.

For all those like this, im sick of it, man-up. you signed up for it, quit your !n. , if you need to, go see someone about it. it could help.

but dont turn your back on this country. this country has given what you have now.

i know most on here are not what im describing. but i just needed to vent

I don't watch the prime time evening news anymore for this very reason.

The news tends to be pretty depressing, it's been a while since I've tuned in and saw good news, it's like good news doesn't count. It is very discouraging to find that all the news covers is bad things but they are going for ratings. I too am burned out on all the war coverage but I'm sure there are those who appreciate it when they have someone over there. On that same token though; who wants to find out about thier loved ones facing death from thier television sets, not me.
